HMS Java, carrying the plans for HMS Trincomalee, was attacked and defeated by USS Constitution and later sank under tow, along with the plans, Strange coincidence.

Pierrefonds is on the southeast edge of the Forest of Compiègne, north of Paris, between Villers-Cotterêts and Compiègne.
